eBay Gift Certificates

What do you get for a person who seems to already have everything? It's a question that we've nearly all faced because we all have been in our circle of friends and family, who seem to already have everything (or at least everything that they want), and thus are virtually impossible to buy a gift for. However, just because it isn't easy to buy a gift for them, that doesn't mean that you can simply avoid buying a gift on occassions like birthdays or Christmas.

If you don't have a clue about what to buy as a gift for that person, and they resolutely refuse to drop any hints as to what they might like, an gift certificate could be the answer. You can purchase these certificates using PayPal , and the recipient can then use them to purchase whatever it is that they might like on .

There are a couple of things that you do need to know about these gift certificates:
  1. gift certificates do eventually expire.

  2. While gift certificates can be used in many auctions, they can't be used in all auctions. Specifically, they can be only used in those auctions where the seller accepts PayPal as a method of payment.
Although worth knowing about, these are both quite small limitations, especially since the majority of items listed on eBay can be purchased using PayPal. So, next time you're struggling for a gift idea, perhaps you ought to consider an eBay gift certificate - it could be the perfect thing!
